A few thoughts regarding our upcoming Wednesday show at the Mezzanine with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! and the National. First off I actually had tickets to this show before I found out we were playing it. That's never happened before. Secondly as an added bonus to three phenomenal bands Ted from
BAGeL Radio will be DJing between acts. Ted has singlehandedly gotten me through some atrocious days at work with his Friday live show although to his discredit he's never played "Against All Odds" by Phil Collins. For shame Ted. For shame.
Also although the show's sold out I hear the Mezzanine kept a stash of tickets to sell at the door so all hope is not lost for the procrastinators.
Lastly for everyone at the show who has yet to see us live (I suspect there will be many of you) please please come by the merch table afterwards sign the mailing list and say hello. We're San Franciscan

Hello everybody. We're all feeling a bit dilapidated this morning. I think my head weighs forty pounds.
That said we had a glorious time last night. I think I have about twelve National songs in my head right now. They were ridiculous live & damn nice folks. And so tall. Thanks of course to CYHSY as well. Nothing but good things to say about them. And the Mezzanine & Ted from BAGeL...this is beginning to sound like some kind of Emmy award speech so I'll stop before I make a total ass of myself.
More news when something goes on & my brain hurts a little less. Thanks everyone. Although if you're still in bed at 8:30 in the morning I'm goddamn jealous.
Good afternoon everybody....

Good afternoon everybody. This will be a brief little news dispatch while we try and juggle recording times booking and the general insanity that is Wednesday afternoon. Expect a nice chunk of shows on the page soon (we're maybe heading down to LA again) and a new couple songs maybe within the next month. In the meantime
this review is noteworthy because it made me laugh at 8:30 in the morning. We're also on
music for robots at least until his constant updating puts us into the archive. Allow me to say: thanks Robot Mark. There are some new reviews beyond these in the "press" section but hey it's still the same EP. You know how rocktastic it is already.

It's that time again: Los Angeles time. This Sunday the 23rd we'll be back at the Spaceland but this time it's free. And if I like anything it's free-ness. And the man from Music for Robots made us
poster (actually I think his girlfriend did---point is check it out it's pretty slick). We'll be on at 9 and they're pretty timely over there so get there early chat us up watch us rock. Laugh at our van.
On the way down we're playing in Fresno. The boys and girl from Rademacher helped us out last minute so thanks. This one's all ages. And it's...well it isn't free. Sorry Fresnoans. Show starts at 9 an

Yes yes. We're back after a fruitful trip & a fitful sleep. Not a whole lot of new news today just a really enthusiastic thank you to all the folks who came out in both Los Angeles & Fresno. We had a great trip. A few notable tips of the hat:
El Olio Wolof from Merced played with us in Fresno. They were flabbergasting. Long waltzy Danny Elfman-y sing alongs great stage show and to push it over the edge a kick-ass accordion. Hope these guys (and ladies) stop by again soon. If you see their name on a bill just go. Then thank me.
To everyone we had our several dinners with in L.A.: many thanks for setting up the show dancing eating and everything else. There's even a very nice
blurb here. So yea
