New news new news.

First off we've got a show at iMusicast tonight. If I understand right if you're unable to get to Oakland you can watch the rocking from the comfort of your desk chair on their website. If I've been misled I apologize. Bring the children cause it's all ages.

Now that I think of it the next show in San Francisco is all ages too. We're playing with Serene Lakes at Cafe Du Nord on the 28th. I'll be making a poster for that methinks but you should come anyway. We're good they're good Catholic Combs is good. And it's a Wednesday. You know you're excited.

A last couple things. We're getting a little feature in Performer Magazine in a few months which panned out to a photo shoot with a fine gentleman named Ryan. I wanted to thank him here and give you all a heads up. So thanks. And heads up. Oh yeah. And we're playing a wedding this weekend. Really. I'll make sure there's pictures. I might even comb my hair.

Birdmonster is happy oh so happy.

Why you ask? Well yesterday we recorded two songs-alright most of two songs-at Red Dot Studios with Mark & Luke in Tracy California. Both of these fine gentlemen are concocting compilations for various charitable causes (Crohn's disease & the Oakland School District) and will probably release said comps in the next couple months. Birdmonster will be lending their support with two original ditties. We'll keep you up to speed. But anyway we had a wondrous time next to the corn fields on Sunday.

Beyond this there's Cafe Du Nord on Wednesday. Good Lord. It's all ages & it's going to be a damn fun. Our next show after that is October 5th at the Mezzanine with the National & Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! but I hear that's sold out. They're keeping some tickets at the door so if you want to come by just get there a little early. Or come Wednesday the 28th. Or better yet come both shows. If you do I'll do some soft shoe for ya. And you think I'm kidding.
